Olive Consulting is looking for an after-school program coordinator to join our dynamic team.

Under the supervision of the director the Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and operating coding programming . Works directly with a team of up to 3-5 instructors.

If you have a love for coding, experience working with children or youth, and a reliable vehicle to get to and from class and are willing to travel for school placements, you're exactly who we need!

Whether you're a seasoned programmer or a coding enthusiast eager to share your knowledge, we welcome diverse backgrounds and skill levels

Do you know how to teach or use Scratch, Python, Javascript, Graphics designing, elementary AI/Machine Learning, Roblox development, or Robotics programming skills?

Responsibilities:

Provides services in a nurturing and responsible manner.

Plans and facilitates creative, activity-based curriculum-based prevention education groups.

Manage a classroom of 10-25 students making sure they're safe, secure, and having a ton of fun

Help teach coding in a fun exploratory way.

Maintains documentation, prepares reports, and performs related services and paperwork per agency policy and contract requirements.

Supervises and evaluates other instructors.

Attends related training and/or meetings as required.

Develops positive relationships with peers and carries out duties in a team-like manner.

Provides team education and development services and/or presentations as assigned.

Assists in the development and revision of agency promotional publications and media, as assigned.

Models and adheres to standard of conduct consistent with agency and professional ethics.

Reads, is familiar with, and abides by the company's Policies and Procedures.

Classes are located in the greater central Maryland area focused in Rockville, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, and Bethesda areas

Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $18 - $25 per hour
